Hey everyone — I know it’s been a minute since I’ve shown up in here… okay, more like 5 months 😅

Between building and opening the new Las Vegas studio, running the business, and everything behind the scenes, a few things definitely fell off my radar — including being present here with all of you. But I’m really glad to be back.

This week I’ve been diving into website reviews for four photographers I’m onboarding into my mentoring program, and it sparked something I felt compelled to share:

Nothing in your business runs on autopilot — and you always have permission to evolve.

If your marketing feels a little stale, it might be time to refresh your strategy.

If there’s a platform you’ve been ignoring but suddenly feel pulled toward again, go explore it.

If advertising feels both exciting and intimidating, that’s usually a sign it’s worth learning.

And if your client experience — from first inquiry to final delivery — isn’t where you want it to be, it’s okay to rebuild it.

Growth doesn’t come from holding onto systems just because they used to work.

It comes from stepping back, getting honest about what’s no longer serving you, and making intentional shifts — even when they feel uncomfortable.

Your business isn’t meant to stay the same. It’s meant to grow right alongside you.

Take a little time this week and check in:

• What’s working really well right now?
• What feels heavy, outdated, or just not effective anymore?

Fixing what isn’t working isn’t failure — it’s leadership. The photographers who are willing to pivot are the ones who continue to grow, scale, and succeed.

I’ve been doing this work myself lately — going back through my website, refining messaging, and really tightening things up where it needed it.

And my workflow? I’ve been deep in it — from inquiries and booking to contracts, payments, prep, and post-session communication… and WOW. It’s been a project, but such a powerful shift. Creating a truly seamless, elevated client experience matters so much.

As I support these photographers stepping into their next level this week, I want to encourage you to do the same.

And as always, I’m here for you — mentorship, workshops, resources, and real support inside this group
