Color Cards are a very important piece of photographic technology. That is if you intend to have your work printed on paper. Color cards help create color profiles to be sent to the printer to ensure that the colors you see on your monitor match what is printed.

They can average around $60 for the X-Rite Color Checker Classic Card or as they’re also called color rendition cards all the way up to $260.00 for more advanced versions.

We get to have a little fun on set while doing the color card shots, and often make the models make weird faces etc.
